When you log in, we will set up a number of cookies to store your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a login cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. By modifying or publishing an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data. It simply indicates the identifier of the article you have just modified. It expires after one day.

Embedded content from other sites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles…). Content embedded from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor were visiting that other site.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with such embedded content if you have an account logged into their website.

Statistics and audience measurement (Google Analytics)

When an Analytics user requests anonymization of IP addresses, the system performs this operation as soon as it is technically feasible, at the earliest possible stage of the collection network. Analytics’ anonymization feature replaces the last byte of IP addresses for IPv4 addresses and the last 80 bits of IPv6 addresses with zeros in memory shortly after they are sent to the Analytics collection network. In this case, the full IP address is never written to disk.

You can read Google Analytics’ full privacy policy to learn more.
